ServerChirp combines agent-reported resource metrics with external health signals. The server overview shows current health, while history views help distinguish a transient spike from a persistent capacity problem.
Connected agents report a 60-second baseline for server CPU, memory, load, and disk. Live application process views temporarily increase process sampling to five seconds while a watch lease is active.
Metrics continue to use the database as the durable source of truth. Realtime messages tell an open dashboard when to refresh or carry short-lived live process samples.
Each server has independently configurable CPU, memory, and /home disk-usage alerts. Enable the resources you want and choose an integer percentage threshold. ServerChirp confirms a transition over three consecutive samples and uses a recovery margin before sending the recovery event.
Resource alerts do not cover process exits or server connectivity. Those changes are represented by their own process state and server status events.
When an application process is running, ServerChirp can show CPU, memory, disk-read, and disk-write activity. Review one hour, 24 hours, or seven days of history to correlate resource changes with deployments or traffic.
Agent metrics cannot prove that users can reach a site. Pair internal monitoring with an uptime monitor, which checks the application from outside the server and records incidents independently.
